can you differentiate between vista desktop and windows xp desktop?

Windows XP is fast but good for older PCs 200MHz or higher Pentium 200MHz with 96MB of ram it is really fast. if you use Pentium 2 or higher then 256MB of ram makes it faster. Now to sport. Windows Vista is good for PCs 800MHz or higher with 512MB of ram. you can use 386MB of ram but it will be a bit slower. 2.80GHz with 1GB of ram makes vista really fast

from what I have learned. vista was a trail product. I am guessing that it was a positive outcome for the product hasnt disappeared.

Yes, if you mean can you spot the difference . . . Just looking at the desktop you can see that they have different start buttons, but then when you look in to it Vista has plenty of differences.
