How can I lose just a little weight?
I’m 14 yrs old, and I weigh 108 lbs.. I don’t think this is a good weight for me, and school starts in a couple weeks. I want to know how to lose some weight or at least get a little skinnier before school? any advice is taken seriously :) thanks.
I only want to do this because I was much lighter/skinnier before summer and I must have gained weight..
Well, you are 14 and still growing… How tall are you? Make sure that you are losing weight that can afford to be lost. Toning up the body is a good thing…breaking it down past what nature intended is dangerous.
for your thighs, try squats and lunges, that’s the best way to lose fat from that area, sine that’s where most of the fat is stored in most cases. also, walk about 30 minutes a day. and you’ll see results in a week. drink water, or sodas that have 0 calories. don’t fill up on junk food, make sure you eat healthy. and you will lose weight by the time school starts, good as new :]
Stick to lean meats, veggies, salads and stay away from junk food. I lost 80 pounds by doing this. Try to get in at least 6 to 8 glasses of water each day because that helps with weight loss. Choose your snack foods carefully. You can have plain popcorn, sugar free jello, low calorie puddings. Try for at least 15 to 30 minutes of exercise daily. Your weight is perfect and you should have no trouble losing a few pounds if you feel you need to.
You said your thighs? Try to do some walking or running. That will help your legs a lot. My guess is that you stayed inside and watched a lot of TV or computer or gaming over the summer while eating junk food, am I right?
Speaking of food, what’s your general eating habits now? Seriously, you’ve gotta get more fruits and even more vegetables. Dont eat too many carbs (rice, bread, potatos) and you should be fine in a few month.
