What will the dentist do to fix my mouth?
hi I am 13 years old and I havnt been to the dentist since I was about 4 or 5, the reason I havnt been for so long is because I was tricked into going and they were rough with me and I really think I need to go to the dentist because about a year or so my back tooth cracked and it really hurt.now when I look at the tooth all I can see is like a grey/black colour(I dont think that the top of my tooth is still there).I would like you to very kindly tell me what you think is wrong with my mouth and what the dentist will do and be like with me. I have been looking up things on the internet but I feel as though I need my own question answerd. please give me some truthful answers as I would like to know the truth thank you all who reply with a good answer.
Ask around your friends to see if their dentist is gentle and would do everything to make you comfortable - many are out there - you’ll be fine but it must be done, don’t put it off…Take care !!
It sounds like the tooth is dead.
Nobody enjoys going to the dentist but you should go periodically for checkups or whenever you have a problem with your teeth. A few minutes of discomfort is far preferable to a lifetime of tooth problems. The longer you put it off the more serious it may become.
Some dentists are better than others and making you comfortable. Like amblessed said, ask around and fine a dentist who will make it as pleasent as possible.
