I spilled root beer on my instinct

I spilled root beer on my instinct s 30 and now it wont turn on. I spilled it more that 4 hours ago and it still wont turn on, what should I do?

You may have shorted it out…there’s not a lot you can do about that.

You can try putting it in a bowl of rice to absorb the moisture, but root beer is sticky and that will cause a whole line of other problems.

take it all apart and blow it out with like a hair dryer and try the bowl of rice. & then charge it. I dropped my katana in a cup of water. it didn’t work for a few days but when I put it on the charger, it started working again.

try it.

dont turn it on for about a week. and everynow and then get a blow dryer and blow dry every hole you can see on your phone (headphone, microphone, charger hole, memory card hole).

and DONT charge it. cuase thats electricity running through your phone, and when its wet its going to cause a circuit break,.

it worked for me. I dropped mine in soup, and water like 10 times.

just have patience
