What happens if you spill water on your keyboard?

I spilt water on my keyboard and it appears that my w is stuffing up! This letter is popping up in random places and if I do press it it goes on and on and doesnt seem to wanna stop, I have to go over everything I rite and edit the letter out… Also, both my passwords have this letter in it. I cant sign into stuff!! Can this be fixed?? If so how? Im scared im gonna get in trouble :(

If you got enough on it, you might have to toss it. If you just did it, turn the keyboard button side against the table (some people don’t get the concept of upside down) and let the water drain out. If it doesn’t work right after, you could wash it in the dishwasher, but look up instructions online of how to do this (I swear you can).

most keyboards you can just pop the key off with a knife. check and see if something is stuck in there. or you may have screwed up the electronics in the keyboard when you split water on it.

It sometimes messes up and sometimes you have to just clean it.

sometimes it can not be fixed i spilled water on my laptop the other night and the next morning it would not come on and so my stepdad is going to fix it for me and hopefully it will work
