Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about 2-3 weeks ago

Well me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about 2-3 weeks ago, and I went for the morning after pill the next day. Everything has been fine upto now, 3 days ago I came on my period and it was a lot heavier than usual and suddenly yesturday it stopped but then I started bleeding again but a lot lighter and today its just stopped. Could this mean anything? Is it a sign of pregnancy?

The morning after pill is only around 70% effective and so should NOT be used as your only form of contraception. But the morning after pill does tend to mess up your period for awhile after (yes even 2-3weeks after) so it could just be that. You should take a home pregnancy test as soon as which gives a 90% accurate result if it’s negitive but if it’s positive it’s almost definately correct. (You can take them 2weeks after conception) To get a more accurate result you can go to the doctors and have a blood test done, but they usually will want you to have done a home test beforehand. (Which you can have1 week after conception) Also while you’re there you should talk about possibly going on something like the contraceptive pill. Hope this helps x

hopefully you took it 2-3 weeks ago when you ahad sex, and not now because it wont do anything if you took it 2-3 weeks AFTER having sex but if you took it withinn 3 days of having sex, you should be fine still to find out if your pregnant take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after you had sex (any sooner and the results won’t be accurate) in the morning with your first pee is the best time and take it when your period is due alternatively, see a doctor for a blood test this will both let you find out quicker and give you more accurate results

I wouldnt worry as this will just delay it more and if you are concerned take a test
