Jerry Garcia August 1, 1942 – August 9, 1995 rest in peace buddy. guitarist and vocals for the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia band as well as many other side and solo projects he is a musician and artist. forefront of the longest touring band in history. yea the ice cream is named after him, they are obviously dead heads too.

WHAT?!?!?!?!? Jerry Garcia is the singer for Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band. And yes that icecream was named after him. I cannot believe you didn’t know who he was! You need to buy a Grateful Dead cd. You’ll love it, maybe. They’re not for everyone.
