I can never lose weight, I weigh 148 and am freshman in high school
Alright, I weigh 148 and a freshman in highschool. Here’s the problem , I can never lose weight! I can starve myself for weeks and gain 10 pounds ?! Any advice for me ?! Like exercising workouts for my stomach and legs?!? Pleaseee help!
How to LOSE weight?
First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”
One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.
But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Another thing that helps to lose weight is to always eat a good breakfast. That helps to jump start your metabolism which helps start burning calories. Also, try to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. One before every meal (except breakfast) and before all snacks. That helps curb your appetite which helps reduce caloric intake.

my advice man if your school has a wrestling team, JOIN IT. Wrestling from my experience pushes you to loose weight. With motivation and perserverance you will loose weight. Make a goal for yourself, if you do decide to join, like trying to wrestle in the 140 or even the 135 weight class. With the motivation of your coach, pushing you to make weight you will do it because most coaches like mine has concequences for kids who dont make weight.
starving yourself does make you gain weight actually. it stores the food that you have ate and turns it into fat for you to live off of cause you need it. you can do crunches, sit ups, pilates, jogging, there’s tons you can do!! dance!!! that’s a really fun way to do it!! you can even make up your own ways, just be careful that you don’t go overboard and make something dangerous cause I’ve seen that happen before o.O

I think you should never starve yourself…that teaches your body bad habbits and the reason you gain so much weight after starving yourself is because you then probably tend to finally get the urdge to eat and you over eat…the best advice that I have for you is to eat 3 meals a day even if its small portions but make sure to eat breakfast lunch and dinner..and also make sure to throw in simple things such as nice walks every night even if its by your self but if you hate going by yourself add someting fun to it..like bring your dog or even one of your best friends that way it gives you time to catch up with them and it allows you to stay active and in shape but most importantly never try and starve yourself…inorder to loose weight you first have to except you for who you are and learn to love your body and after you start loving your body youre gonna wanna take care of it more..:) and by then yoour gonna start wanting to be active go for walk and most importantly dear PLEASE EAT # meals a day even if its little simple things for breakfast and luch like a gronola bar or something..you need something in your stomache to keep it from crashing down
and always remember youre beautiful and learn how to accept your body and your weight and who you are because until you accept you wont get anywhere and you will have this issue for a while:) GOOD LUCK DEAR:)
