Who should be held responsible for the theft of a Van Gogh painting from a museum in Cairo?

The thefts were made possible because only 7 of the 43 surveillance cameras were functioning. According to museum officials, they have not been able to find the parts to repair the malfunctioning cameras. Does this all seem just a little too coincidental? Should museum officials be fired and/or charged for their failure to tighten security?

If 7 /43 cams were the only ones working then that just proves my point…I think if they couldnt find parts they should have changed all cams. It was entrusted to the museum & it was their responsibility to make sure all 43 cams were on & working properly regardless of issues…

not coincidental in my opinion…nothing is…it was intent…someone was in on it from the get go & are trying to pin the blame on poor cams…fewy….poor security & poor excuse…epic fail!
