Did anyone else hear about the marines urinating on these three terrorists?

Omg! That’s such a BAD WAY TO REPRESENT AMERICA! THE HELL? Ok I’m not on either side. But this is so stupid of them to do that. Period.

CNN is on all day at work, so I’ve heard about this for several days now. Yesterday it was only pictures, but today they leaked the video onto YouTube with sound as well so you can distinguish who it was and the manner of tone it was.

From what I heard in the interview with one of the CO’s, whoever gets caught in this incident is going to be held fully responsible for their actions regardless if it was a terrorist or not. In my personal opinion, it was damn immature of the Marines to participate in this act. I understand some of their defenses might be that they’ve been there too long and went nuts a bit, but what justifies acting like pure animals and p*ssing on someone? Nothing.

Answer #4

I’ve heard about it.. Its just sad -_-

Answer #5

Whether or not they were terrorists, I find urinating on corpses beyond words. The fact that they were proud of what they were doing.. it disgusts me.

Answer #6

It is horrible yea. But their are horrible things and people everywhere doing disgusting things. No bad act should go unpunished obviously. Soldiers are just humans like everywhere else. We all do stupid things and always will. Some get a little over the top with cheering for America. Nothing is wrong with that but what they did is very gross and immature

War is he…LL!!! There is nor ever will be anything correct about it. Outside of the snapshot one sees of the negative side…noone sees or hears much about the soldiers who built and restored uninhabital orphanages, the letters home asking for items not for themselves but for the kids and families caught up that live the hell with them. The obstacles encountered in red tape soldiers went through getting a wheelchair sent over for a boy who couldn’t walk. The starving dogs they took in and treated. And I won’t get into the number of self sacrafice scenarios of aiding civilians and pets alike. Although war is black as night and engulfs everything as far as the eye can see….there are still stars that shine through the blackness of it. Some manage to retain their human side but f2f with kill or be killed, death, torture, fatigue, after days and nights….beings gravitate to the animal inside and the human side becomes forgotten. The only thing that is really correct about war or warlike situations…is that It brings out the worst of the dark side ….but nothing is totally black…glimmers of light do shine through. People just don’t tend to take as much notice of them then the clouds that are presented.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), a former Army lieutenant colonel, sends THE WEEKLY STANDARD an email commenting on the Marines’ video, and has given us permission to publish it. “I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah. “All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq? “The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter. “As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”
