headache due to dieting...

I’m on the slim-fast diet… and I’m eating seeds, nuts and crab sticks as ‘snacks’ so I’m getting all the nutrients I need in addition to the slim-fast…

but I have had the most awful headache this afternoon…anyone else experianced this?

You are currently in school to receive your nursing degree and you believe this diet is good for you and that you are receiving all the nutrients you need?

wow, remind me never to need hospitalization in Europe.

Okay, try eating a piece of fruit with your slim fast, also try to drink at least 2-3 bottle of water a day. Stop eating only seeds…crab sticks (immatation I assume) are not “healthy’ snacks. Your body needs nutrients, and if you excersise you need to replenish those nutrients. Eat something healthy every 2 hours, example would be fruit/veggies/granola (under 150 cal). Eat a sensible dinner with your fist size portions, and try to limit your candy/sweets intake. Slim fast isn’t that great.

  You don’t say how long you’ve been on the diet.

Maybe your body is not getting enough fiber. If so, it could be that your body is becoming a little irregular. Sometimes, when going into or out of an cycle of irregularity, headaches are common.
