ik how you feel. we’re actually a really good group. we just have way too many 6th graders

Yeah, but in competitions the audience needs to know who you are… let alone the judges… those airheads get mixed up all the time, and need to know who they are judging. Hey if you’re coming to Indy, the best choir is Ben Davis Jr High… I don’t know if you will compete against them, but if you do, make sure you watch them, it’s always a good show.

it’s fun yeah. but I get sick of every where we go the anouncer is like,”the redcoats have been named grand champion…” and then we come on and their just like,”The radient reds are an all girls show choir…” it takes away from all the excitment.

Well I’ve been in one, however, I too live in the midwest… Of course, if you think about it, I bet most high schools do them, and if you think about it that’s all a musical is… a show choir with some acting in between.

but im in middle school and we do it. we go all over the place. we’re going to indianapolis next month.

yeah I can see that. And the mixed choirs are always better… and I hate how they get to do cool songs like “free ride” and the ladie’s choir is always stuck with crap like “moon river” I mean what the heck right?

ok. I will. I really hate going everywhere with our mixed group because people dont even come nemore bc they always win. they’ve gotten grand champion everywhere they’ve gone for 5 years striaght. it gets annoying

Nice kibbles, Indianapolis is awesome! I live there :) I did my show choir in middle school, got into marching band in HS cause choir wasn’t really my thing. We went all over the place too… competitions and stuff. It was fun :)

well lucky for you, some schools in indiana have not converted to the middle-school system… for instance my school district has elementary school from k-6th, then 7th and 8th grade are in the jr.high. 9th graders all go to one building by themselves, and 10-12th is at the high school. So… maybe you’ll get second this time around cause you’ll be up against schools that are just 7th and 8th grade with no 6th graders.

yeah. I like being wit the 6th graders. they just out number us,so our sound as a group is effected

Yeah. This year we have to do songs from enchanted and the mixed group is doing man ok the mirror and play that funky music.
