Has anyone here ever read The Light & The Glory?

I believe it is a very accurate portrayal of history. Peter Marshall Jr. is one of the authors. His father was the chaplain & the subject of a book & movie written by the wife/mother called “A man called Peter” . I have heard Peter Jr. in person, he spoke at my church years back over several nights. Very captivating, very accurate man. Every fact he states in his book was researched & found printed in two completely seperate resources. It took a long time to write, that is for sure. So much history has been seen in a bad light, especially american history. I am glad someone has done their homework & dug out facts that need to be told.
You know he has another book that picks up where this one leaves off, right?

Yeah I read it about 10 years ago. It’s revisionist history at its very worst; and is not grounded in fact at all.

For example, it treats Columbus as some kind of visionary, when Columbus was clearly eager about exploiting Arawak populations in the Caribbean as slaves to support Spanish colonialism.

I could go on, but there’s really no point.
