How hard is it to hide a tattoo from your parents?

Answer #1

depending on where you got your tattoo

Answer #2

Where is a good place to hide it?

Answer #3

well if its on your thighs /legs - depending on your pantss back - would be easy if its in the middle shoulders- if you wear t shirts mostly it shud be easy lower back should be easy

the main places i would worry about is like your neck, arms, ankel anything that shows your skin most

Answer #4

-_- It would help ALOT if you told us where you got it.

Answer #5

DO NOT GET IT ON YOUR LOWER BACK. If you do, then when you’re pregnant, you can’t get the shots that they give you to relieve the pain or whatever. :) Just saying.

Answer #6

what about my breast? haha

Answer #7

well thats true forgot bout that thanks for reminding me

Answer #8

well i have mine over top of my boob when i wear normal shirts it doesnt show but if you wear low cut tops or v necks it might show

Answer #9

well i have mine over top of my boob when i wear normal shirts it doesnt show but if you wear low cut tops or v necks it might show

Answer #10

haha no i was thinking mainly my breast.

Answer #11

my breast.

Answer #12

Well, that’d be easy to hide…unless your parents see your boobs O__O but, what if you want to wear a bikini? You’d have to make sure it didn’t peak over the edge of it or anything.

Answer #13

i was thinking my lower boob though

Answer #14

yeah i think i have an idea of to where to put it just try on all my shirts and like draw what i want. and make sure it dosent show :P

Answer #15

it should be easy enough to hide my mom didnt even notice mine for like 2 weeks as long as they dont see u change, and your shirts arent too low cut, you should be good

Answer #16

Good idea! Now I want another tattoo D: I want one on my shoulder blade, that’d be so cool.

Answer #17

its illegal to get a tattoo at your age without parental consent, so PLEASE dont get some back alley illegall job that your almost certainly going to regret. as for your breast, thats a good spot there probably not going to look at. however, the most regreetted tattoos are of people other than family, so if you plan to get your boyfriends name there, that would be a very BAD idea

Answer #18

If you’re trying to hide it from your parents you’re not old enough to get it. Wait till you’re older. It’s not like the tattoo is going anywhere. It will be with you for the rest of your life. And if you still want it at that point, you know you wont be changing your mind later on. And no, I have nothing against tattoos. I have one. And I waited till I was 18.

Answer #19

I want a Zombie on my left boob :D I’ve been planning it a few years ago, but I’m getting it prolly when I’m 19.

Answer #20

Connor - that’s not true, lol

Answer #21

I have a tattoo on my lower back and was able to get a epidural with both my children.

Answer #22

Really??? O:

Answer #23

WELL THEN. My bad D: that means my mum lied to me. Sowwy blush

Answer #24

well no, she didn’t lie to you it may cause harm for a baby, depending on the women

Answer #25

well it is true it’s depending on the women and there body shape and how new/old the tattoo is

Answer #26

Really….the tattoo only goes skin deep - an epidural goes into the spine.

Answer #27

No April - it’s not at all true…it’s a myth

Answer #28

I have a family member who does tattoos she did mine, i wanted a tramp stamp but she she said that it can cause pain the back more instead of in the stomach which can give you backpains during labor

Answer #29

thats why it depends on how new it is, cause if its fresh it could get infected and if your really thin and its a big tattoo it could hurt you n the baby more o.o

Answer #30

When youre wasted you can drive up and down the strip in your car and scream to strangers, “WANT TO SEE A ZOMBIE?” and then flash your boobies!

Answer #31

That’s all so incredibly false I can’t even dignify it with an answer….I’ve never heard such drivel.

Answer #32

well i just got information from the tattooist so

i guess they would have to ask the tattooist themself if they wanted a tramp stamp

Answer #33

ohh no. haha dont worry! i am not getting a name on me at all!

Answer #34

plus i didnt say it was impossiable, just may cause the baby harm

Answer #35

Let me clear up some of this debate, both as a mother who has recieved an epidural (i have my entire spine tattooed and they went through the tattoo to give me the epidural) and also as a woman who worked in a tattoo shop for years. A tattoo has no effect what so ever on your baby or the epidural. Tattoo artist do not tattoo pregnant woman to be safe, only because of the risk of infection that could be spread to the baby, you have a risk of infection anytime you get a tattoo though. Your lower back tattoo also will not affect your epidural in any way…thats a complete myth. The only thin affected is the tattoo, it might get slightly warped where they have to stick the needle through, thats it. It doesnt matter how new the tattoo is…you can still get an epi and it can not harm the baby.
