Why is it so hard to drop bad habits and harder to keep good habits?

Because our brains have receptors which cause a routine and almost involuntary mental command in order to be exposed to the chemical they are designated to process. Maintaining the current receptors is far easier than shutting them down and awakening new ones.

Because you think they are hard/harder to. Were it the very nature of man to follow everything bad and disgusting, no civilization was possible. lol

its better to have a bad habit, of lots of bad habits is a bad one

That’s very true and they say it takes about 30 days for the brain to learn new habits and break old ones and that’s when implementing a constant effort.

i had a bad habbit of biteing my nails all the time but then one day i kept nail varnish of for like 2 weeks and when i took it off i had longer nails because the nail varnish hid the tips so i didn’t bite them, fine a way to make you forget about the bad habbet and you will stick to your new one :D x
