What does this quote about happiness and circumstances mean (read)?
If you can be happy, not because of your circumstances but in spite of your circumstances, then nothing can take away your happiness.
No matter how bad things are around you awasy stay positive nd happy. True happiness comes from within, not from the world around you…..thats what I think it means.
If you can be happy even when everything is going wrong for you (your current circumstances are bad), then you are truly happy and no one can take it away from you. Basically it is telling you that you should not let things that happen to you dicatate your happiness. Do not be happy just because you are getting As in your subjects and you have lots of money saved up etc., be happy because of who you are and you will be able to remain so even when you are down on your luck. Let your happiness come from within rather than external sources.
