How can I stop my hair from looking orange?

What products are you using and what color are you going from? I’ve been doing this for 15 years (from age 12). Trust me, I’ve been clueless before so thats why I’m trying to help. Do you have a Sally beauty near you? If not a walgreens will do and have you dyed your hair before?

dye it a darker color such as brown or black. if you want it to look light how about light brown?

If you want blonde, go with a shade that has ash in the title. Or go to a Sally Beauty store and buy the haircolor you have to mix yourself, it will be in a purple bottle (the purple bottles fight the orange). All of this is the advice my hairdresser gave me, after I turned orange. Also, buy a toner and a good deep conditioner. The toner will help the color blend, and the conditioner will help it not look so fried. Hope this helps you!
