Answer #4

Answer #5

Longer hair? Dunno. If he just wears the hair in the back of his head a little longer, that will make the neck seem shorter. Mens hair should not be cut shorter than the earlobe.

Shirts with a collar, (like polo-shirts or a formal shirt that you usually wear beneath a business suite) should be also make it appear shorter than t-shirts with no collar do.

Why does he want to cover that long neck anyway? I mean is it really giraffe-like? I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with a guy having a long neck, unless the rest of him is rather short and it looks un-proportionally long…

Answer #6

Or maybe, if that fits his style, he could wear a necklace. A simple, short leather band with a single small pendant, to add a horizontal line that will make the neck optically shorter.

Something like Thors hammer with a Celtic knot… http://funadvice.com/r/154s2e1dfn0 Or a skull-pendant. Or a sword-pendant. Anything that doesn’t look girly.

Answer #7

I really don’t think any clothing is going to help make the neck look shorter.

Answer #8

aha collar

Answer #9

Answer #10

Answer #11

Well he looks a bit skinny and his neck is long… :(

Answer #12

Then I guess that that’s normal for him then. He can make it optically shorter by covering the lower neck with a collar and the upper neck with longer hair. Or a baseball cap worn wrong way round… or he can wear some scarf http://funadvice.com/r/bjgtk64qeee http://funadvice.com/r/154si0jlsft or necklace http://funadvice.com/r/154si0jltjo if any of that fits his style.
