What do you think of a gay Green Lantern?

Hmm…I first knew greed lantern as ryan reynolds thanks to the 2011 movie..I would not like to imagine him gay…Lol

But I do agree..green Lantern is a marvel hero yes? He is unique and I think he should stay as his artist intended him to be

Hi, the green Lantern is a “replaceable” hero. The Green Lantern is a regular guy who fond a magic device that gave him super powers. He then had to protect the earth from alien menaces with those super powers.

Now in the history of the Green Lantern comic, the device has been passed on to new people. I remember The Green Lantern has been at several different “regular guy with the magical thing” guys. Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner.

Now I have read that if they plan to make a gay regular guy have the magic in the Green Lantern comic book issue for june 2012. So if the movie is about that guy, why not?

I don’t like it, because I don’t think a character should be made straight just for the purpose of promoting equality. If I were watching Will and Grace and wanted to prmoted straight rights, I wouldn’t make Jack a lothario with women.
