I agree, he made some huge mistakes as chancellor, but people fell for the party line that he was this great, serious genius, but he hid every time anything looked a bit ropey. And he’s obviously far too concerned with trying to leave a political legacy, not just in the UK but the world. Which isn’t going to happen but the more desperate he gets while trying, the more the country will suffer.
