What are some good ideas for a reasonably paying second job I can work at next year?

I’m still considering weather or not I want to continue with hairdressing next year and get paid averagely, or go for a less stimulating, but well paying job, as I will be saving in anticipation for my trip to India in 2012. Does anybody have any ideas of a field or job I can go into, that requires minimum study/skills to learn beforehand?

Avon or any party plans where you sell products to an audience are great ideas. Even selling stuffs online would be a good extra money earner. Just be mindful, with holding down a second job, this job does not interfere with the job you are currently doing. Most companies have codes of conduct for employees, where you cannot have a second job that conflicts with the current job. Also, if you are working days and the second job will outside business hours, your employer would not want you turning up at your day job tired. :-)
