Ok so here's the deal I want to go to texas to visit my girlfriend and well I looked at the flights and they went from 321 down to 274 and I'm like great and I showed my mom and said I can't go b/c she's afraid I'll get killed or something.She over exagerates and she knows how much I care for my girlfriend but still won't let me go and so I've decided to go with my own money so my question is do I need my mom's permission to go on the plane since I'm underage?I'm 16 turnin 17 in february and wanting to leave around in march during spring break so I won't miss out on school.And If I do is there anyway around it?B/c if I can't go and a plane then I guess I'd have to go on the bus XD lol so yea I need to know A.S.A.P
Well if you have your driver’s license then you should be allowed to fly without parent permission because that is a legal ID for you. But it is different for different airlines. I fly North West and once you have a license you can fly without parent permission. But just check online and everything first
