Going on a plane?

Ok so here’s the deal I want to go to texas to visit my girlfriend and well I looked at the flights and they went from 321 down to 274 and I’m like great and I showed my mom and said I can’t go b/c she’s afraid I’ll get killed or something.She over exagerates and she knows how much I care for my girlfriend but still won’t let me go and so I’ve decided to go with my own money so my question is do I need my mom’s permission to go on the plane since I’m underage?I’m 16 turnin 17 in february and wanting to leave around in march during spring break so I won’t miss out on school.And If I do is there anyway around it?B/c if I can’t go and a plane then I guess I’d have to go on the bus XD lol so yea I need to know A.S.A.P

your that guy who that girl was talking about… I think you guys are totally rushing into this… you know she wants to have your baby right? soon too… are you ready to be a parent? I mean you can’t even get a plane ticket.

Ok well I live in california and yea she’s afraid of me being in another state and worried I’ll get killed and I’ve tried convincing her so I’ll try again around my b-day because she owes me big time for all the things I’ve done for her.

Well if you have your driver’s license then you should be allowed to fly without parent permission because that is a legal ID for you. But it is different for different airlines. I fly North West and once you have a license you can fly without parent permission. But just check online and everything first
