The answer is, yes, since he can do anything. But he would never do such a thing. For what would be the purpose?

According to Christians yes. They believe God is all powerful, benevolent, all seeing and all hearing so to them this could be possible.

If you believe in God - then of course he could. He is supposed to be all-powerful and the creater of everything, so of course he could pick up or move something.

:) I have heard this one referring to Zeus (of course no one would actually dare question “God” because that would be blasphemy), and I think you’re looking in the wrong place for answers to this one…

God can do anything - you’re thinking physical - He is supernatural.

If the theory on him is real, then sure, why not? I mean, if he is supposedly all powerful, then he could do whatever he wanted.

I am a christian and I dont see this as possible. and why a rock. why not a bus. or a tree. also what would he do with it after wards. if he cant lift it what would. it would just constantly keep falling.

But if he could lift it, then it’s not heavy enough. Which means he didn’t create such a rock. Which means he can’t create such a rock. And if he couldn’t lift it, then he’s not all powerfull. Sooo… there’s no such things as all-powerfull. Sooo… there’s most likely no such thing as god or perfect.

Questions about ‘religion’ …and questions about ‘GOD’ …are NOT the same thing.

If god can enact contradictions, then god is not comprehensible, and people should stop pretending that he/she/it/theynothingnes are.

If god is not comprehensible, then no religion on this planet has any kind of an inside track (since they all pretend the contrary), and we can all go about living our lives as if no gods existed at all.
