yes, you can give ten percent of something that would be a sacrifice for you.

time… talent… service… money… etc.

instead of fighting about it, why don’t you suggest they go to their ecclesiastical leader and ask him that question.

well we read that but still he believes that money has to be given and she believes that helping people and im confused becasue I dont have anything to do with it

Leviticus 27:29-32 …

29None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

30And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s: it is holy unto the LORD.

31And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

32And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.

This passage clearly says that tithe is not just ten percent of cash but a tenth of everything of yours. … I always pay cash on my tithe and’ve never thought to set aside ten percent of my time or abilitys or anything. This question even helped me some … thankx

God is not pleased… with this fighting.

He much prefers us to love one another.

He tells us in his word… to not argue.. over anything.

He also tells us that he loves… a cheerful giver.

He will be just as pleased with one offering as he is the other…

provided…

both are given with a cheerful heart,

and because the giver loves God, and wants to be obedient.

If a man/woman gives because they have to, that is their reward.
