Girth hmmm too tight...to loose on a horse saddle?
How many fingers are you supposed to fit between the girth? I was told it was 2 fingers.. but my friend told me it was four… Hmmm wich one? 2 or 4?
2 fingers, but ride for a while then stop and recheck it, better to be safe then sorry.
I’v heard you need to check it UNDER the horse instead of on the side underneath where it buckles. And it should be 2-3 fingers.
I’d say two fingers…the simple fact is…tho a girth or cinch CAN BE so tight it harms a horse…most females don’t have the upper body strength to get it “too tight”…

my husband aid 2 or 3 fingers it depends on the horse because if its to tight it will become itchie and un comphortable for the horse
