Gift for my boyfriends 17th birthday

Alllrighty guys, We’ve only been dating for like.. A month, but by the time his birthday comes around we’ll be just a couple days from 2 months. (its october 6 right now, his birthday’s october 26th, and our 2 month’s november 1st)

So, with that in mind. I want to run my ideas through right now, I sing.. And I can kind of play guitar lol… Like, I couldnt play something if you put it in front of me but I cant write my own music. One thing he really wants is to hear me sing. So I was going to write him a song and play it for him and sing. Downsides to that; I tried starting writing it last night.. My lyrics are terrible, I am in a new band though and since I’m the singer I am going to have to write a song sooner or later, so I guess if I can’t get that done by his birthday I can give it to him as a christmas present or something.

Another idea I have is to write him a story. I know, it sounds pretty lame. But I’m really good at writing stories and books and whatnot and I started on it last night and so far I really really like it. (it’s about us, and how we met and about our relationship or whatever… But it’s from a third person perspective and it’s really good so far.) I think I’m going to do that but I still want something else to give him too…

I was thinking about cologne.. But I don’t know? He wants like a 30 gig ipod but I highly doubt I could buy that for him… Maybe for christmas if I started savin up money lol.. Mayyybee.. He was talken bout a pair of shoes he wanted, and I know what size shoe he wears.. But im pretty sure his moms getting them for him.

The thing is, I dont want to get him any material thing his mom or best friend could get him… But he’s a dude, so I couldnt do the sweat things guys would do for a girl.

I think I’m pretty good with my story idea, yet im still confused.

Pleaseee reply =)

DO NOT spend any large amount of money on this guy. Not for his birthday, not for Christmas, not now, not in a year. If you’re still seeing him in a couple years do something nice like that.

That’s all I got.
