Answer #1

go google gauging ears and you will see what she means…it’s when you make the hole in your ear bigger by stretching it out over time…having gauged my ears also you did do a big jump but you should be fine just make sure you clean it good and like jezs said treat it like a new piercing…wait a month or so to gauge more but don’t do another jump like that next time go from your 12G to 10G…don’t worry if you experience some swelling, that’s normal…good luck :)

Gauging? I think you have used the incorrect word as your question makes no sense. Did you mean Gorging? If so that still doesn’t make sense as gorging means to stuff yourself with food, and that would mean you got larger not smaller…sorry your question is dumb.

lol - gauging, as in increasing the gauge (which does result in a smaller gauge NUMBER) of a piercing.

You will find it’ll hurt and swell, and with that big a jump in gauge, it’ll probably need to be treated like a brand new piercing - so aftercare, rock salts and all that.

But no, there’s nothing particularly wrong with it - just most people prefer to pace the pain and gauge up slowly!!
