Does it matter what side a lip ring is on?

hey wats good a i want my bottom lip pierced do it matter were u get it on the right or the left side ??????????????// cuz u all know if u get your nose pierced on the right that mean u gay and i aint gay

;) xiigzag - it was the right ear. The left ear meant you were straight (at least on the west coast & in New York, that’s what it meant).

In other parts of the country, it could have been different…however, regarding your lip piercing dilemma…I’d just go for two piercings, one on each side of your lip. That way, when you interview at your next job, they’ll think, “wow, this guy has a really high pain tolerance. I’ll bet they are willing to work extra hard, because they can endure so much”. :)

Though I do remember when an earring on the left ear meant you were gay - and available.

To be safe, just pierce both your ears like a normal person would.
