How do you make friends on the first day of school?

I’ll be attending college very soon, and it’s like super nerve-wracking! I don’t know anyone, and i don’t want to fly solo the whole time.

just walk up to some people that look like they would be good friends and say hey and start getting to know they. you have to be the person that starts talking so they know your not a loner so good luck :) i just moved to a new school too

Just go all out.. talk to people, be yourself. Go out of your way to say hi to someone. College is much more mature than high school.. People aren’t as rude or stuck up.. surprisingly. Everybody’s been very nice to me.. :)

look for people who dress like you, they’ll most likely turn out ot be the most like you. : )

Be pleasant, but make sure not to stick to anyone. Honestly compliment people, and I think you’ll find it’s better having a ton of friends to hang out with instead of one.

Create a conversation don’t be scared, fear gets in the way the most.

oh and by the way, This really works. On my first day to a new high school that was way out of town I tried this and I got a ton of lunch invitations.
