Fried Hair

Used OTC hair color remover- removed color, minerals, texture, strength, etc. Left me with split, frizzy, icky feeling mess. Am cutting it off little by little as it grows out, but now I have roots coming in. How can I even out, or unify hair with causing further damage?

This is one the main reason’s I always tell people to never try and stip their hair of color, themselves. Messing with chemicals can be tricky - and that’s what stripping your hair is.

Have you tried doing a hot oil treatment to your hair to help with the damage and frizziness. I get a hot oil treatment everytime I put bleach in my hair to help it not be as frizzy, it works wonders.

go to your local drug store and look for those ten minute hair treatments and use those. use them like twice a week for three weeks. it’ll work wonders.
