Does foundation and tanning cream give you pimples and blackheads?

Yes, it can cause pimples and blackheads, as foundation and some creams can clog your pores…. or irritate your skin.

I can’t say for sure whether or not you would stop getting pimples and blackheads if you stopped using both, you’d just have to try it and see to figure out if that is what is causing it.

They can do yes. What you need to do is look at the packaging. Use foundation, and make up in general, that has the term non-comedogenic (or non-occlusive) on it. This means it does not clog pores and so it should not affect your skin in terms of giving you spots.

The best thing to do is create a regular skin care routine (see a dermatologist if you can, so you can create a plan tailored perfectly to your skin) making sure you use products that will deeply cleanse and a light moisturiser to keep skin in good condition. Always remove make up at night and exfoliate your entire body before self tanning, to make sure you skin is nice and clear (this will also make the tan sit better).

It is worth trying cutting both out, but not necessary as you can just change to products that are non-comedogenic. If you still have problems after that then you could see a doctor if you get lots of spots, as there might be an underlying cause or they could give you some treatment if it makes you really self conscious.

If you use oil free. and make sure to wash your face once you get home (Or are done doing whatever it is) Then it should be fine.

Yes it can.In my opinion it is better to wear some mineral powder foundation and maybe apply some clear acne cream to you face before you apply makeup.thats what i used to do and sometimes still do lol.
