cayanne pepper, red wine and dark chocolate can increase blood flow

Answer #2

Pumpkin seeds, oranges, nuts, watermelon, garlic can all help to increase blood flow. Some herbal remedies are: cayenne pepper, ginko biloba, rosemary, sassafras and red clover tea.

Other ways that can help to improve blood circulation are ‘the hot and cold method’ (hydrotherapy). This is when you have hot and cold showers. Try and do this every day. When you are in a hot shower the blood rushes to the skin whereas a cold shower blood rushes to the internal organs. Try and do hot, cold, hot once a day for around 15 minutes (or however long your shower normally is).

When exercising make sure you warm up properly to ensure blood flow increases gradually. Do stretches every day if possible. When breathing inhale through your mouth and out through your nose.
