What should I do for flea bites?

I’m pretty sure we have flea bites. We have an indoor dog that we are trying to get rid of its fleas but I’m concerned about everyone living here. My kids have it the worst and I’ve been putting anti itch cream on them because I don’t know what else to do. If anyone could give me suggestions that would be great. The bites tend to be in areas that have tight clothing like the waistebands of pants and are also more in spots where skin touches skin, underarms and behind the knees. The bites resemble misquito bites and swell up pretty big.

To my knowledge there’s not much you can do until the fleas are gone… Different itching meds is all I can think of - some work better than others.

The flea bite is a bite that can just be given time to puff down and don’t itch it.
