How do you deal with fleas at an apartment?

Live in a complex for the elderly and handicapped, and a few people on our floor have fleas (cuz they have pets), and I think I have them. (Have tiny bite-marks on my feet, ankles and calves, and have felt bites during the day while I’m sitting at my computer) How do I deal with fleas? I don’t wanna make a big deal out of it, or involve the staff if I don’t have to. Is there any sprays or anything like that?

Answer #1

I would search around for flea repellent and get an exterminator. Those are nasty little creatures.

Answer #2

You need to notify the landlord or building manager - this is a health concern for all the people living in the building. Sprays, alone, won’t fix the problem - the fleas need to be eradicated from the building. The landlord can bring in an exterminator.

Answer #3

Ok, thanks. They’re having an exterminator in tomorrow to check for bed-bugs (they do checks every month), so I’ll have them look. (I just despise the guys they use)
