how can you take the flash off of a camera??

how can you take the flash off of a camera?? as much as I try to push and find buttons I dont see it or if I think thats it turns out that its not! its completly frustrating me.

The symbol for flach is a lightning bolt-looking thing. With an arrow at the end I think. Look for the option that has that with a little circle with a line through it.

Read the manual that came with it or do a little search on google for the make and model number and search for instruction manuals. You dont say what make of camera it is so how would anyone know?

There’s a four way rocker switch on the back of the camera. If you press up (lightning symbol) it will cycle through the flash modes - including off! http://funadvice.com/r/bqkd1a90i19
