What can I do to fix my iPod without going to the iTunes store?

My phones broke, so i’ve been texting off my ipod for the past day. I had it sitting next to the computer & i forgot about it for like 2 minutes, then i press the home button so it’d light up & nothing happens, so i’m like okay, maybe it died. So I took it to my iHome thingy & plug it in, nothing happens ? Soooo now i’m just like wtffff, so i take it to the computer, & plug it up. NOTHING HAPPPPENNNSSS. It’s new. -_-

What do you mean it lights up? Like wat exactly shows up on the screen?

When you press the home button it’s suppose to go to the lock screen & i type in my pass & it’s all normal & what not. But noooow when i press any button on it nothing happens it stays like its off.

ask someone in your family who is very very very good with that stuff it might help and u never know, ur fam might know alot bouyt stuff ya dont know! js:)

maybe you(or someone else) turned it off you can can turn it back on by holding the button on the top left or right(depending on what kind you have) when you hold it down for a few seconds it should go to the apple logo nd then to the lock screen. Hope I helped
