How do I fix Google Chrome?

I have some problems with Google Chrome. When I click on it to launch it, the program launches, but it just keeps loading and loading and nothing ever comes up. I downloaded Firefox because I need to get some work done on the Internet, but is there any way to fix this problem with Chrome? I tried reinstalling it, but that didn’t work.

you can probably re-downlaod it…there was also this other thing that like, re-started it, just copy and paste this into the “run” taskbar in the start menu of your computer:

Windows Xp: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

Windows Vista or 7: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data

Locate the folder called “Default” in the directory window that opens and rename it as “Backup default.” then you have restarted google chrome :)
