Fitness training and diet

I am amongst the few girls who are not interested in loosing weight for looks. I have the dream of being a cop. I will do anything to accomplish this dream of mine. My mom evidently doesn’t believe in the perfect meal plan or anything, but it’s not too far off. What’s something I should eat regularly for energy to work out?

I have never had too much of a problem with push-ups, actually I was quite the show off, throwing down 40 here and there for kicks. I have started crunches and some workout videos recently, which according to the pain and the stiff stomach, I infer their taking their toll. But I went down to do a few push-ups yesterday and pretty much collapsed after two or three!? Barely even that. I haven't been working on my upper body at all, and that shouldn't be a problem because I never had that problem before. I tried starting them out using my knees, but that's too easy for me. I feel nothing while doing it. Help!

Thankyou for your consideration of service first of all. Carbs are good for fuel that will be burned. Also fruits are a very good stimulant. Don’t be discouraged by how little you are doing, once your body has established a rythm the sore aching body will beg for more. The nice thing about working out is that after your body gets used to it, it is very hard to stop. Make sure thought that when you eat carbs like breads and italian food that you dont work out untill the food is settled. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
