fish tank filter stopped.

I have 2 fish in my fish tank, (not salt water) my filter stopped working, what can I do? Do I move them from that tank and put them in a bowl until it starts working again?

I used to have same problem with mine, but what got my filter working was pouring water from measuring jug onto the filter & that used to get it to work again, but then again I dont know what type of filter you have running,

try googling it & see if that helps!

you should buy another filter soon you cant wait to long but no you dont have to move your fish they will be ok for like a day but I would get a filter as soon as you can so they wont die
