Do you find cake levelers useful?
And if so, are certain kinds better than others?
I’ve never actually used one, but I can see the benefits of chopping off the top of a cake if you were wanting to ice it or decorate it. I’d find them useful if I baked more cakes, but I’m more into cookies! Haha
I’ve only used them a handful of times at other bakeries. They’re useful, but you can get the same results with a large knife (i use one thats a foot long). Sometimes people order different flavors of cake that dont rise the same and the leveler doesnt reach the point that i need it too.
