Father might be having an affair
My parents are model parents - raised 5 kids, 6 grandkids, married 40 years. I learned recently that my dad has been exchanging strange emails with a woman who he had a less-than-platonic relationship with 7 years ago.
My mother has served him and been faithful for their entire marriage. She has spent the last 4 years helping him through a battle with lung cancer.
I came across a series of emails where it looks like my dad is going to reconnect with this woman later this month. I am completely devastated – I haven’t told a soul… I am so torn - if I blow the whistle - the model family image is destroyed. Everything I’ve know and my siblings has known is a sham. If I dont say anything - I dont feel its fair to my mother — she has a heart condition and I haev no idea how this will play out. They are 63. This shit isn’t supposed to happen at that age.

I’m so sorry for your situation…putting my pity aside, I must say, the same happened with my parents…They split several years ago while I was 12…The bad thing was I knew everything that was going on…It sucks to be in this prediacament…Dont do anything let your parents handle what is theres to handle..
