Answer #1

No expired medicine is not ok, would you eat food that expired 7 years ago?

Answer #2

hydrocodone and acetameniphen are chemical compounds that are very stable. All chemicals have a specific half-life.. meaning when you ingest it, in that time frame half of the dosing is gone. This is true for nearly all chemicals, so my guess is that it is just less potent. I still have two years until I get my degree in Chemistry so I am no expert, but im pretty sure you will be okay.

And for comparing it to food, they are two totally different things. Food absorbs moisture and bacteria and for the most part is natural. Drugs are synthetic.
