Would it be okay to make myself throw up if I ate something that's making me feel sick?

I’m pretty sure it’s from what I’ve eaten. I am resting until my stomach feels okay again because it is really bothering me. I feel like I want to throw up. I’ve taken medicine but I’m still in pain. Is it possible that i could be food poisoned? Should I try to throw it all up or rest until it goes?

If it’s making you feel sick, then it will likely come up on its own.

You really should avoid vomiting, as it’s bad for your throat and your teeth … try an antacid instead.

It Will Probably Come Up On It’s Own. I Ate Expired Jelly And Got REAL Sick With Half An Hour It Will Come Up.. Your Body Gets Rid Of Nasties. By Doing That

no not really. if you make ur self sick u can feel worse just try nt 2 vomit by making ur self do it it will come up sooner or later and ull feel a whole lot better

I am not going to do it again. I only asked because my stomach wasnt to well & I felt like throwing up.. I have no reason to become addicted to it and carry on doing it.

If something isnt working right in the body it will dispose of it in any way it needs to. By forcing it out will only make you feel sicker. * when I feel nausea or a sickening stomach ache I try some tea with fresh herbs like mint leaves/sheba leaves & lemon grass leaves which helps the digestive tract. Natural remedies always work better then meds can and the hot water will help as well.

It has always made me feel better to do that. Get the “poison” out of your body and you always feel better. Just don’t start feeling like every meal is a reason.

Anyway, if you feel like your body is trying to get rid of it but not quite succeeding, then yes, trust that feeling and give it a little help. But don’t try to make yourself vomit when you’ve no physical urge to do so.
