Examination halls, classrooms, and crowded places

My exams are coming and im taking my A Levels this year. Some of the exam halls include big spaces, where lots people are seated. I find it hard to concentrate, or terribly stressed up when I sit down with the table in front of me. I feel watched and most of the time I am, because im pretty conspicuous. I really dont want this to affect my examination. And like halfway during the exam and I need to draw a graph, I find some kind of mental block thats enabling me to reach out for new stationary, because I feel scared about what others would think, and I dont want to “fake it”, besides thinking about such things during the exam is simply ridiculous and time-wasting, and enerygy-wasting becasue I feel doubly stressed and frown…any idea what to do and fast!!!P.S. im the one with past experiences of name calling and I have a pretty bad reputaion in my school for “faking”, and I think the crowd knows im scared. Issit partly because when I do my revision at home, I prefer lying down or sitted on a bed?

Dear Ice,

Your past denial in how you would treat others is being called out through the problems you are having with you exams…Use it to change the way you treat people..No more name calling, no more faking, etc…Because you are finding out the hard way how all that crap you give people eventually comes right back to you in other forms. Treat people right..There is no reason for you to be insecure.. By treating others right..this will give you more confidence not only with exams but in all aspects of your life. Also try and study harder..an extra hour or two a day..really know the subject matter..not just memorizing answers…find out why the answers are the right ones…For example..Take an orthopedic surgeon, they don’t just go into class and memorize a bunch of answers…they find out why the answers are what they are..they have a full understanding as to the subject matter..this is why you can ask them any question and they will answer it with no problem..Your area is no different..I challenge you to really buckle down and dive into all aspects of what you are studying..Try it and let me know..Good-luck!!!

I feel for you, I had to do my SATs in a school filled with people I couldnt stand, and it wasnt fun. But once you actually start your exam you need to realise no one is paying any attention to you… yes before and after (even though they’re really not even at this point) cant be fun, but they’re taking their exam! they’re not going to waste their precious minutes looking at you… Especially during an A level exam, I dont remember anyone who was done super early and was looking around at anyone else…

Try and remember, people have bigger concerns than you once they’re in that room…
