When Is The Best Time To Apply For A Place At Uni?

Im in year 11 and am doing A-Levels next year. When is the best time to apply for university? I know there is a lot of competition at the moment what with the recession, and some students who have just left the sixth form already had a place reserved for them. What do you think? I want to be a solicitor or barrister so I definately need to go to university! Thanks :)

I think it is. Sometimes you want to start early so you can see awhole bunch of oportunities so I would:)
