Ex-girlfriend Drama/sentencing/court...blah

Ok. My boyfriend is in jail, for those of you who already know, im sorry, I just need to ask another question. So. He had a plea hearing today,I went, and he plead guilty to his charges. Heres the clincher. His sentencing date is May 22nd. And here are the possibilities. The black bitch said he could get 4 years, but his lawyer is saying he’ll get 0-9 months. I go to see him tomorrow at 10p.m. with his mom and his brother. When I seen him today in cuffs and shackles, it nearly broke my heart. And heres the other thing. He is 21, and im 17, almost 18, and a senior in high school. His ex girlfriend is also a senior, and is trying to start drama, and say that he is controlling. I’ve known Josh for almost 8 years. She has been talking crap ever since we hooked up. But she really wants to get back with him, and I think she is only trying to get me to break up with him so she can get back with him. Seriously, I really don’t know if what im doing is right. I’ve been hiding all of this from my dad, and I just dont know what to do. Do I wait for Josh, or find someone who is not in jail? And dont you say “WELL APPARENTLY YOU DONT LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS YOU THINK YOU DO!” because you dont even know how I feel. Give me advice
