animals, humans and plants evolve to adapt to there surrounding and changing enviroment the enviroment we all live in forces us to evolve to adapt to it because the enviroment is constantly changing folssils and yes amber are two thinsg that prove how animals and plants and even humans have evolved over thousands to millions of years and yes, wetaher you like it or not there is more proof of eveolution than there is of any “god”

You can not yet proove it. Although there is plenty of evidence to suggest such a thing.

It’s called the evolution theory. May I point out religion is also just a theory, no proof.

Proof eh? Hm… wasn’t there an experiment on fruit flies that somehow “prooved” it? Not very familiar with what they did with them :o

the model is the fossil record- they can take you back to a very small relative of the horse for example- and through the fossil record they can show you how that animal ‘evolved’ over the course of time.

if you study the fossil record you will be able to see it in action.

from the human standpoint , science basically has stated that we (as a species) emerged onto the scene in africa, basically in one spot- so if you consider that during that time the only skin color would have most likely been brown. now if you notice- as our ancestors started moving around the world- varying skin colors ‘evolved’ to best suit the new climate. so I would say that the proof is in the existence of so many races, and skin colors.

and again- I would direct you towards THE FOSSIL RECORD for the proof of EVOLUTION that you are seeking. another fascinating thing to discover is the multitude of species encapsulated and preserved in AMBER- we have whole insects or small animals preserved for all time within AMBER.

Evolution can be seen/witnessed in lesser animals (microscopic organisms, bacteria, viruses, etc.)

A good example is Influenza or the common cold. They can’t find a cure, because it keeps evolving. These changes can be witnessed because these small organism s reproduce at a MUCH higher rate (minutes-hours) than larger, more complex organisms like humans (years-decades).

“Can you prove evolution,” is a valid question. Though, let me assure you, that copying and pasting the definition of “prove” is pointless. Anyone who has a snowball’s chance in hell of proving evolution to you does not need you to define a one-syllable word.

Let me put it to you simply: whether you like it or not, there is more proof out there that evolution is real, than proof otherwise. I am not hostile to religion, only religious zealots who are blinded by their faith, so please don’t harbor any resentment towards me. Evolution is a much more believable concept than “God.” Chew it over. I find that people who actually READ the bible and study religion, discover how false it is.

Evolution is merely the accumulation of adaptations. If you can accept that adaption happens, and if you can accept that an adaption can happen that builds on a previous adaption, then you have accepted evolution.

A poignant real world example of evolution is HIV. For HIV to turn into AIDS, it must make several mutations that build on eachother. The reason for this is that it adapts to a persons specific immune cells. Each mutation that reduces the immunity results in much larger numbers of the virus, thus increasing the probability of another mutation that wekens the immune response even further. These accumulating mutations have been directly observed in individuals over time.

This is why it takes ~10 years for HIV to turn into AIDS, the virus has to evolve to overcome the specific immunity of someone.

Uhhh no… the BIBLE says that GOD created MAN from the dirt (oh the similarities). Did you get your theories mixed up?

Besides, you’re not acknowledging principles of evolution that HAVE been proven to occur… which HAVE been mentioned in this thread. Are there any principles of ‘creationism’ that have been proven to occur?

Adaptation is not the same as evolution.

No… that just one example… YOU need to understand what evolution is… instead of just limiting the definition (in your head) to one aspect that you happen to have a problem with.
