Answer #1

You guys are illiterate and ignorant. If you’re really concerned, ask your doctor or a nutritionist. All of the standard chemicals like B-vitamins and caffeine found in energy drinks have very low chemical half-lives, which means that they don’t stay in your system for very long. Further, the fancy ones with glucorolactones and guggosterones might heighten existing anxiety disorders, but are overall very beneficial for brain function and muscle growth. It’s also easy to get addicted to the ‘high’ that some of the more potent drinks like Crunk or RedLine provide, which is bad psychologically, albeit still not terrible for you physically.

ok heres the thing every once in a while isnt bad but if u have one every day or so you will have problems they say they arent bad but they are its like drinking about 12 sodas at once the caffine and sugar levels are harmful… I drink energy drinks every once and a while but i used to drink them all the time till i learned that they were harmful

Answer #3

energy drinks are for energy boosts, i don’t think it is really good for you to have them all the time, but one every now and them should be fine. just know that they’re loded with cafein and that can stunt your growth.

I agree with djwager. people make up a bunch of stuff about them but none of its true. I have 4 or 5 a day and im totally fine. I get plenty of sleep and I dont crash- usually. as long as you dont drink a lot at once, they dont harm you, all they do is give you energy. sort of the purpose. :]

Answer #6

I’ve drank 7 in less then 2 hours (sort of a contest… lol what a night) We went to the hospital and asked if I could get harmed from it and the doctor laughed and told me no I would be fine just find something to do for the next 72 hours and when I crash I would sleep for about 15 then be fine… haha the good old days, and comming from a doctor saying it wouldnt harm me physically drinking 7 at once in 2 hours… oh the 7 didnt even make me twitch just walk a lot haha and ok yeah my arms shake abit too lol… and I used to drink one every other day pulling 20 hour days 6 days a week for 3 months straight nothing went wrong with me… so your all good, unless you react to it in someway.

In most energy drinks, caffeine levels are higher than the FDA limit for sodas, which is 65 mg of caffeine per 12 ounces. The FDA does not regulate caffeine in energy drinks, some of which, like Cocaine, contain huge amounts of caffeine: 280 mg in an 8.4-ounce serving, compared with about 100 mg per 6 ounces in coffee. Theyenot Necessarily bad for you,But they shouldnt be used as Alternatives to other drinks that can give you an energy boost, like orange juice ect. Some Studies have Shown that the amount of caffeine in energy drinks really put a damper on your liver and kidneys. Everyhing is good In Moderation. Even Energy Drinks.
