How can I encounter nuclear radiation?
its for a science project and i cant find it anywhere? help

Nuclear radiation occurs when unstable isotopes decay. It happens in small amounts all around us all the time.
If you want to demonstrate nuclear radiation by setting off a Geiger counter or other apparatus than you can buy uranium ore. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission doesn’t care about individuals owning small amounts of uranium ore.
i just want to know what gives off nuclear radiation around me. or anyways i can be by radiation
go take a bath in reactor 4 over in Chernobyl then hold a geiger counter against yourself ;) should do the job :P
