Nuclear radiation occurs when unstable isotopes decay. It happens in small amounts all around us all the time.

If you want to demonstrate nuclear radiation by setting off a Geiger counter or other apparatus than you can buy uranium ore. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission doesn’t care about individuals owning small amounts of uranium ore.

go take a bath in reactor 4 over in Chernobyl then hold a geiger counter against yourself ;) should do the job :P

you want to encounter nuclear radiation …….. chernobyl was the one of the biggest nuclear disasters in history :L when the big nuclear reactor went boom and killed loads of people ……..
