Emo,goth, preppy???

Has anyone noticed that when some one asks how to be emo or goth or something every one is a totall b*tch to them but if someone asks how to preppy every one is all nice and gives them advice I dont agree with people trying to be something that they are not (posers) lol I just was noticing ( I know I did spell anything right but who cares hehe)

metal, youre right. I have actually seen you posting rude comments. myself, I dont agree with emo people. because for one, their disrespecting their body. to be honest, preppy should be the way we should all be living. god put us on this world to respect our bodies, not go & cut every bit of our body & what not. you dress emo & act goth but yet you tell everyone that youre not? ohkay, that doesnt make sense but everyone is different. we all have our unique styles. just because you look emo doesnt nessecarily mean that you are. many people like the hairstyle. like myself. I have somewhat an emo cut, but I do not look it at all. I dress really preppy & act really preppy, but I dont show it. I would rather be myself & not be labled. its just the thing that everyone does because they have nothing better to do but start with stereotypical garbage.

Answer #2

I have a problem with all posers. I would usually post something mean but I rather not waste my time. Sterotypes are overrated & lame. I dont see why its so hard to just be yourself. I mean under all the heavy make up,cut wrist, baggy clothes, your still a person not an emo goth prep scene or anything so why even try? I dont know that just my opinion (:

Answer #3

labels are GAY.

does anyone know how to be themselves anymore ?

why does it have to be preppy, scene, punk, goth, emo, retro, gangster.ect be yourself thats the best

Answer #4

Anyone who made a really stupid comment. Like a7x, pwincessirene. stella1, metalfreak, III3, a7x AGAIN!, annonomus, I’d say she’s talking to almost everyone who has said truly stupid things. “Preppy is the way we should all be living”, “they deserve to be b*tched our”. you know all those type!!

Answer #5

I’m a btch to ANYONE who asks how to be something because they’re obviously a fcking poser and no one likes posers. They ALL deserve to be b*tched out.

Answer #6

im a btch to everyone who asks how to dress like something no matter what style it is. ask anyone who has posted something like that. Im probably on there saying something btchy b.c I think its’ ridiculous.

Answer #7

Anyone ever think that what they might be asking is where do you find the clothes and such? Never heard of Hot Topic or Zumies. Not asking how to necessarily BE or HOW as in what they are

Answer #8

ARE YOU SERIOUS?
“preppy is the way we should be living” Preppy isnt a lifestyle it is a label. and bringing God into a discussion about clothing makes you seem kind of stupid. especially implying that God would want us to dress preppy, He wants us to be happy and to dress in what makes us happy, whether a polo or potato sack. he doesnt care.

“ I have somewhat an emo cut, but I do not look it at all. I dress really preppy & act really preppy, but I don`t show it. I would rather be myself & not be labled.” Your entire post was about your “label” and your opinion of other labels. instead of trying to act preppy and dress preppy act happy and dress how you want to.

Answer #9

That’s because being “preppy” is considered to be “normal” where as being “emo” or “goth” is not. All 3 are just ways of dressing basically. Not all goths think they are vampires, not all emo’s are cutters, and most preppy’s (ok. Although most r. ) (:

I am none of the above, I am the mother of a 13 year old girl who dresses “scene” and is constantly asked if she is emo or goth. She tells them neither, and although she’s not a “scene girl” she just likes the way they dress (and it is similar to emo). She also gets harassed a lot by preppies. Which is really uncool preps, “cause not everybody likes you or your style of dress either!!

  1. it bothers me when people want to be something they dont understand and something that the majority of people who are one now, still have no idea what it is and liim3shiin3 thgis is just more proof that people dont know what there talking about emo andgoth have absolutly nothing to do with cutting or depression anyone in the world can get depression, because everyone has problems and cutting is self harm, not “emo” they are both seriouse problems/disorders and need help depression and cutting have nothing to do with any sterotype its just something some idiots made up, and naturally sheep follow the herd and repeat what they here. so the stupidity spreads
Answer #11

they never asked how to be emo ro whatever they just asked some place to get the clothes and stuff. that is different maybe they’re just sick of always going to the same stores “to be honest, preppy should be the way we should all be living. god put us on this world to respect our bodies, not go & cut every bit of our body & what not. you dress emo & act goth but yet you tell everyone that you`re not? “ okay you have no fcking idead what you’re talking about. cutting is a sign or poor anger/emotional management. not all emo’s cut. I know preps in my school that cut! so eat that! bitch. these people who come asking for advice in these forums don’t deserve to be the ones b*tched out, the people coming on to this site giving nothing but negative responses do! anyone else think so?

Answer #12

to be honest prepp is the way we should all be living

WTF!! Like preppy should be the “master dress” similar to the “Master Race”” Isn’t that smelling on the side of conformity?? Like I stated earlier…but here it is again… NOT ALL EMO’S CUT THEMSELVES,,NOT ALL GOTHS THINK THEY ARE VAMPIRES” etc. ,etc.,etc.
What happened to individualism anyway? And FYI; preppies and diva”s tend to have the highest rate of anorexia and/or bulimia. Talk about “not hurting your bodies”. Or is that accepted in Preppyworld?
